Use Playlists to Bond With Your Fans

Engagement with your fans is always a great way to relate to them. This can be done in many different ways. One great engagement tool is curated playlists to share with your supporters. They have already bonded with you over the love of music. So what better way to keep this connection than to put together a collection of music that they can enjoy with you.

    Themed Playlist

You can get creative with the playlists. It is Halloween season, so consider a spooky playlist with Michael Jackson's "Thriller" as the lead. Or when Valentine's Day is approaching, an R&B playlist could get your followers in the mood for the romantic festivities. Nevertheless, announce on your social media that you will be dropping a playlist so that your fans know it's coming and can even drop suggestions. Be sure to add a few of your records to the list.

    Share Your Playlist

Once you put your playlist together, share the link on your social media platforms for your fans to enjoy the tunes. Keep it posted for about a month, and then create a new playlist. Have your followers share which song they were most happy to see on the list. Again, this keeps those lines of communication between fan and artist open, which is appreciated among your supporters.

    Get Other Artists Involved

When making dope playlists for your fans, be sure to add a few artists in there who are independent and lesser-known. This will help your other musician have their music exposed to your fanbase. Paying it forward will turn fellow artists into fans and future collaborators.

While this may seem like such a small thing to do, creating a playlist and sharing it with your supporters is a great bonding tool. It adds an extra layer of engagement that they will tune in for, giving your fans a personalized touch of your musical taste. They'll love you for it.
