During his set at the HARD Summer Music Festival in San Bernardino, California, the southern rap staple announced that his seventh studio album would be titled "Dope Don't Sell Itself." The album serves as a follow-up to last year's well-received "So Help Me God!" which peaked at #15 on the Billboard 200.
While there are currently no details about what can be expected from the project, fans can only assume that Chainz will close out his trap era with a bang. Since his introduction to the world as Tity Boi, one half of Playaz Circle, Chainz has built his career on the essence of the hip-hop subgenre, so it will be interesting to see what the 43-year-old has in store for the remainder of his career.
Nevertheless, news of fresh sounds from 2 Chainz is always a welcomed surprise.
Are you ready to hear "Dope Don't Sell Itself?"
