50 Cent is no longer playing with singer Teairra Mari about the $50k she owes him.
This week, Mari was forced to undergo three hours of questioning by 50’s lawyers regarding her financial records. In the past, she has been unwilling to hand them over in the case, maintaining that she does not have the means to pay the judgment.
The two have been embroiled in a nasty legal battle sparked in 2018 when 50 shared explicit images of Mari on his Instagram page. Mari sued 50, initially claiming revenge porn. However, the “Power” creator shot back, slamming the accusations, stating that the images were already viral on the internet when he shared them. A judge dismissed her lawsuit but ordered that she pay 50 Cent $37,000 in lawyer fees. When she failed to cough up the dough, penalties were applied that took her debt to $50,000.
Mari has repeatedly said that she does not have enough money to pay 50, but that has not stopped him from publicly shaming her over the money. On Thursday, the G-Unit founder shared a screenshot of an article highlighting the latest development in their case, demanding that he be paid his money by the top of next week.
“Young lady your going to learn to have respect for the legal system whether you like it or not. where is your friend lisa bloom now ! she ran away and left you smh you know you done fvcked up right ! I want Money by Monday,” he wrote.
Mari has not publicly responded to these latest claims.
