Media personality and blogger Akademiks is known to speak his mind, and now, he is taking shots at Lil Baby and Lil Durk as they gear up to hit the road.
During a recent appearance on the Flagrant 2 podcast last week, Ak speculated that the duo is struggling to sell tickets for their forthcoming The Back Outside Tour to commemorate their joint album, “Voice of the Heroes.”
“Lil Baby’s trying to do arenas about 10,000 to 15,000,” Ak stated before claiming that two people told him the ticket sales were not that popular amongst fans. “They said his tour’s doing bad. You’ll never see him post that his tour is sold out. They said it’s not selling that much.”
Ak attributed the poor sales to the two rappers together having minimal mainstream appeal, despite both being two of the most respected artists of this generation.
His comments come on the heels of Lil Baby’s run-in with Paris police just days ago during Paris Fashion Week. Luckily, the rapper was hit with a marijuana fine and released.
