Singer Ari Lennox has been arrested in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, after claiming that an unknown woman was racially profiling her.
The “Pressure” star sent out several tweets Monday morning detailing her ordeal. A little after 4:00 a.m., she first alerted fans that there was trouble in the country after landing there in the early morning hours.
“F--- Amsterdam security. They hate black people,” she wrote.

She then followed up with, “I just want to go home. I’ll never leave my house again.” A short time later, she revealed to her followers that she was being detained. In her last tweet before falling silent on Twitter, Ari wrote, “I’m being arrested in Amsterdam for reacting to a woman racially profiling me.”

Dutch police issued a statement claiming that the singer was taken into custody for disturbing public order. They stated that Ari was drunk and made threats towards an airline staff member.
Dutch military police, who are responsible for security at Schiphol airport, said Lennox was held because of her behaviour towards an airline official, and for being drunk in public https://t.co/opAJvEUQvA 3/4
