
R&B legends Bobby Brown and Keith Sweat set to go head-to-head in the next Verzuz battle.
On Tuesday, the official Verzuz Twitter made the announcement, revealing that the latest musical event is in collaboration with Essence Fest.
Bobby Brown was a member of the iconic 1980s R&B group New Edition before leaving in 1985. He went on to have a successful solo career, which included records such as "My Prerogative" and the Grammy Award-winning "Every Little Step."
Keith Sweat, on the other hand, has released 13 solo albums throughout his over three-decades long career, with songs like "I Want Her," "Make It Last Forever," and "Get Up On It" charting on the Billboard Hot 100. He won Favorite Male R&B/Soul Artist at the 1997 American Music Awards for his self-titled album.
Bobby Brown and Keith Sweat are scheduled to play their biggest hits on Thursday, July 1st, at 5 p.m. in a musical event sure to lure fans of all ages.
