Bobby Shmurda showed up and showed out for his community on Father's Day.
On Sunday, the "Hot N*gga" rapper held the "Father's Day Give Back Brunch" in Brooklyn, New York. The event, primarily for fathers and their children, served 200 financially challenged families at the Win Shelter with a Caribbean brunch filled with stewed chicken, jerk salmon, curried chickpeas, mac, and cheese much more. To ensure that no food was wasted, all leftovers were donated to the CAMBA Men's Shelter in Brooklyn. In addition, three barbers were also on-site to provide free haircuts to all the kids and dads in attendance.
Fathers also received brand new clothing and books, while the youngsters were given footballs, gaming consoles, board games, and many other toys.
The event was Shmurda's way of paying it forward following his release from New York's Clinton Correctional Facility in February after serving almost six years.
