Days after his Breakfast Club interview, where he doubled down on his past homophobic remarks, Boosie is now letting the LGBTQ community know he has love for them.
The "Distant Lover" rapper posted a video to his Instagram on Tuesday alongside his tour manager, Jay Cooper, who happens to be gay. In the viral clip, Boosie explained that he is often misunderstood.
"This is my tour manager. He takes care of a lot of business. That's Jay Cooper. He go get the money right there. People don't understand, Jay, that I have nothing against gay people or nothing like that. You're gay. You make half my money!" the 38-year-old protested. He went on to add that he sometimes says things in "the wrong way."
"I got family members [that are] gay, like, gay people have better hearts than us regular n----s."
It looks like the Boosie Bash festival founder is having a change of heart after previously bashing Lil Nas X for kissing men on stage during his recent performances.
Do you think Boosie is sincere with his stance?
