Rapper and actor Shad Moss, aka Bow Wow, revealed that he is working on a sequel to his hit movie "Like Mike."
The "Outta My System" artist made the announcement during a Twitter Q&A session on Wednesday. Bow says that while the film is in its early stages, he is confident that it is progressing in the right direction.
"We are working on a like mike sequel. Its all just ideas as if now. But yes we have been talking. So far so good," he wrote.

Another fan suggested that Bow include his daughter, 10-year-old Shai, in the cast this time around. He wasted no time implying that she would likely play a significant role in the basketball flick, but would not elaborate further.

The original "Like Mike" was met with positive reviews and became an immediate hit when it was released on July 3rd, 2002, earning over $62 million at the box office. A direct-to-video sequel followed on June 6th, 2006, titled "Like Mike 2: Streetball," though it did not get much attention. The follow-up did not feature the original cast members and has virtually been forgotten in the years since its release.
Thankfully for fans of the original film, Bow Wow promises that he has linked up with the original writer and will bring back all the feels from the classic.
