Dallas Police Want To Speak With SpotemGottem About His Role In a Murder Last Year

The legal troubles for rising Florida star SpotemGottem continue to mount as he has recently been connected to a murder.

Authorities in Dallas want to speak with the “Beat Box” rapper in connection with the killing of Reginald Agnew Jr., who was shot to death on September 30th following a party at Club Tropics. Police are now eyeing Spotem for his role in the slaying after lyrics from his record, “Again,” seemingly brags about Agnew’s murder.

“That n----a dead as sh--. His loved ones won’t see his dead a-- again,” Spotem raps at one point. In another line, he says, “they don’t even know who did it,” seemingly referring to law enforcement who have worked the crime with few leads in the year since it occurred.

While it remains unclear how the 19-year-old’s lyrics directly tie him to the unsolved murder, Dallas Detective Belew believes that the rapper is taunting investigators with his “very bold” lyrics.

SpotemGottem was previously arrested in July for aggravated assault with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and accessory after the fact to a felony. He was released on an $18,500 bond.

The rapper nor his team have responded to the new allegations.
