Diddy is making his return to music with the release of his forthcoming album, “Off The Grid.”
The Bad Boy mogul announced the album on Wednesday to his 18.1 million followers. The post did not give many clues as to what could be expected from the album other than it would be released on September 24th.
Back in May, the 51-year-old revealed that he’d legally changed his middle name to “Love” to usher in his “Love Era,” which many believe to be a new wave of R&B music from the world-renowned producer.
Diddy’s last full project was a mixtape released in November 2015 titled “MMM (Money Making Mitch),” which featured guest appearances from Future, Pusha T, Styles P, King Los, Sevyn Streeter, Lil Kim, and more.
It will be interesting to see the type of vibes that the “Hello Good Morning” rapper will bring on this latest project, especially if R&B is the focus. Previously, Diddy has dominated in the genre with hits such as “Last Night,” alongside Keyshia Cole, and “Satisfy You,” with now-disgraced singer R. Kelly.
Fans will have to wait and see.
