DJ Khaled has become the latest big name to receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and to some, the honor is long overdue.
The prolific record producer began his musical journey as a Miami radio DJ. After years of hard work and a grind that remains unmatched, Khaled rose to the top as one of music's most prolific figures, working with nearly every major act in the industry. His impressive discography includes records with Rihanna, Beyonce, Migos, Justin Bieber, Rick Ross, and friends Jay-Z, Fat Joe, and Diddy, who joined him for the star ceremony.
In an Instagram video posted to his IG, Khaled is embraced by HOV as a crowd of onlookers cheer him on during the joyous occasion on Monday.
"I want my star to represent the light, the love that shines on everybody," the We The Best founder shared during his speech.
Khaled's star is number 2,719 on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and is placed at 6212 Hollywood Boulevard, next to Amoeba Music.
Next time you're visiting Hollywood, make sure you check out the newest addition to the famed sidewalk monument. Congrats Khaled.
