Harlem hip-hop star, Ma$e, is taking shots at his former label head, P. Diddy, in a new unexpected diss track.
The 90s rapper turned pastor turned rapper again released the record this week titled “Oracle 2: The Liberation Of Mason Betha.” The usually laid-back MC used 5:17 to call out Diddy, now known as Love. Ma$e accused his former friend of owing him money, rapping, “N***a tryna starve my kids and give my money to his firstborn.” He also accused Diddy of profiting from the Notorious B.I.G.’s death.
“You just a n***a who know how to market death,” he rapped.
Ma$e has been vocal in the past about his beef with Diddy. In 2020, he called out the Bad Boy founder in a now-deleted Instagram post. Ma$e accused Diddy of “extremely unfair” business practices, which have, in return, left his artists struggling financially.
For years, Diddy’s ethics have come into question. Former Da Band member Freddy P and Willie Taylor of Day 26 both slammed Diddy’s former music reality show, “Making Da Band,” for setting artists up for failure with shady contracts that caused more harm than good.
Diddy has not yet responded to Ma$e’s track. You can hear it for yourself below.
