Freddie Gibbs says that he uses ghost Instagram accounts to taunt fellow rappers.
The Grammy-nominated MC made the quirky revelation in a new interview with GQ magazine.
"I'm getting on fake Instagram pages leaving comments like, 'That shit is wack.' I'm doing all kinds of bullshit, taunting people," Gibbs confirmed.
Interestingly enough, Gibbs was banned from Instagram back in December for being an "excessive bully" and displaying "too much nudity and sexual behavior." However, the "Alfredo" rapper says that the social media platform has gotten it all wrong and denies that he was bullying anyone. His official Instagram was eventually restored, but Gibbs treads lightly these days. Luckily, his Finsta accounts allow him to troll freely.
Finstas (Fake Instagrams) is not a new craze. Many of the world's biggest celebrities are rumored to hide behind fake Instagram accounts so that they can post freely without public scrutiny. Drake and Beyoncé are both rumored to have secret social media accounts.
