Gucci Mane Closes Out 1017 Christmas Album With Young Dolph Dedication Song

Gucci Mane blessed fans with his annual Christmas album on Friday, which included a special tribute to his late friend, Young Dolph.

On the final track of "So Icy Christmas," Gucci offers a solemn tribute to the slain rapper titled "Long Live Dolph." The Zaytoven produced record finds the 1017 founder reflecting on the time they spent together and the endless jealousy that musicians face once they reach a certain level.

"R.I.P. to Dolph, long, long live the legend (Long)/From Memphis to the 6 (6), they felt you in the bricks (Bricks)/The day you died, it broke my heart, a day I won't forget," he raps.

He and the rapper have maintained a long-standing friendship, despite Dolph never signing to 1017, opting to stay independent. When news broke of the murder, Gucci tweeted that the news broke his heart.

Young Dolph was gunned down in Memphis, Tennessee, on November 17th, 2021. So far, there have been no arrests in the case.

Let's continue to keep Gucci Mane and everyone who loved Dolph in our thoughts and prayers.
