JayDaYoungan is back in jail after an arrest over the weekend in Louisiana.
On Saturday, the young rapper was pulled over in Washington Parish. However, the traffic stop proved to be all but routine. Jay was arrested on a slew of charges, including child desertion, a second violation of child restraint, switched license plates, driving without proof of insurance, illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of persons under 17 years of age, and several other drug possession violations. The 23-year-old was booked into the Washington Parish Jail shortly before 3:00 p.m. He is being held without bond.
The Atlantic Records star has made headlines recently for his legal run-ins. In September, he was arrested for accessory to second-degree murder and obstruction of justice charges. Those charges stem from an August 8th, 2020, drive-by shooting that he allegedly participated in. Two shooters with Jay at the time killed an innocent bystander, 21-year-old Zion Hutcherson, and injured two others.
He was out on a $175,000 bond at the time of Saturday’s arrest.
