Kodak Black may have his share of legal troubles, but he has built a reputation for showing up for his community. The Florida rapper recently celebrated breast cancer survivors in Miami.
The “No Flockin” star closed out Breast Cancer Awareness Month by rallying more than 20 women on Tuesday and giving them cash, personal journals, a note from him, and wigs to those who have lost their hair from chemotherapy treatment.
“I know they’ll appreciate it,” Kodak Black said to WPLG. “Show these women they’re queens, they’re strong, they’re going to get through it. Pray with them. We’re going to get through it together.”
Miami radio personality and influencer Supa Cindy was in attendance at the heartwarming event and helped to organize it. She posted footage from the touching celebration to her Instagram account.
“He has a good heart, and he helps his community,” she wrote in the caption of a video with Kodak.
The women are seen receiving the gifts and thanking Kodak for his generosity. Check out videos of the beautiful day below.
