Drake, Lil Nas X, Justin Bieber, Eminem, Kanye West, Harry Styles, Michael Jackson, and Taylor Swift were among the artists who had their YouTube channels taken over by a Twitter user with the handle @lospelaosbro.
Many of the videos uploaded to the artist's channel had long titles and unrelated content. In one clip posted to Styles' channel, multiple men wearing hoodies were seen dancing to a remixed version of "Hit the Road Jack."
Vevo has not announced who is responsible for the hack. However, @lospelaosbro maintains that they are behind the cyber attack. They even tweeted some of the quirky videos that appeared on the celebrity channels.
Vevo deleted all of the hacker videos, and the affected channels appear to be restored.
