Rapper Lil Xan recently posted a video detailing how his former manager supplied him with drugs that nearly claimed his life.
In a video posted Wednesday, the 25-year-old called out Stat Quo for feeding him drugs at the height of his career, despite knowing that he was struggling with addiction. Xan says his addiction kicked off when he was prescribed Ativan to help with his anxiety. Doctors then switched him to Xanax. Eventually, he was taking nearly 50 times his initial daily dose.
"I remember days on tour my security would have to check on me to see if I was still breathing ! But as long as I was medicated enough to get on stage and make that bag for me and the team everything was all good lol what a joke," he wrote in his lengthy IG post.
Back in August, he opened up to 60 Minutes, revealing that quitting drugs cold turkey caused him to suffer severe withdrawals that landed him in the hospital.
Xan says Stat Quo better "lawyer up" because he is seeking legal action against his former manager. He says the man also took his car from him and moved him far away from Los Angeles to avoid dealing with their issues.
Stat Quo has not publicly responded to the accusations.
