Rapper and serial entrepreneur Master P has his eyes set on expanding his New Orleans burger joint.
The No Limit founder debuted Big Poppa Burgers in 2019, placing the first location in his hometown. In a recent interview with Bizjournals, P revealed he is taking his food operation to Nashville. After his son Hercy began playing basketball for Tennessee State University, the 54-year-old became familiar with the city, calling it his “second home.”
“I just fell in love with the culture and the people,” the “Bout It, Bout It” rapper said.
Master P has not yet revealed a timeline for when the Nashville location will open its doors, but locals now have a bit of New Orleans flavors to look forward to.
Big Poppa Burgers became an instant hit in New Orleans for its special sauce seasoned to perfection burgers, chicken, and fries. Some of their most popular menu items include Big Poppa’s Louisiana Chicken & Waffles and the Make ‘Em Say Ugh Burger.
