Meek Mill shared a tweet last week, stating that no one in hip-hop culture assisted him in getting business deals. Instead, he credits Michael Rubin with being the sole reason behind his business success. He vowed to give opportunities to upcoming acts once he gets in a position to do so.
Before mike Rubin I never got put on to any business deals by the og’s from our culture …. I’m on my like my 5th big one! Why is it like that? Not sponsors ownership! Ima change that if when I really get the power too to help the younger generation!!!!!

Many fans jumped in his mentions following this latest revelation to point out what Rick Ross, Jay-Z, and even T.I. have done for him throughout his career.
These latest comments only fuel rumors that Meek is at odds with MMG boss and his former mentor, Rick Ross. The DreamChasers founder has been calling out his record label across social media outlets. He is currently signed to Atlantic Records while still being signed to Rozay's Maybach Music Group, the label that skyrocketed his career. However, Meek has stopped short of calling out Ross by name. The two noticeably haven't collaborated in a while, and Akademiks previously broke the story that the men have been beefing for quite some time.
