Naturi Naughton has found immense success as Tasha in the hit Starz series, "Power." She's now the star of ABC's new drama-comedy, "Queens." However, the singer-turned-actress says her entertainment career has not always been filled with luxury. In fact, she says she was without a home or vehicle during her time in girl pop group 3LW.
During her recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Naughton made the revelation alongside her "Queens" co-stars, Eve, Nadine Velazquez, and Brandy. She says even during 3LW's appearance on "MTV Cribs," she was without a "crib" of her own.
"MTV did the Cribs, and back when 3LW was hot, we had to pretend. But I didn't have a car. I didn't have a house. I didn't have any of those things. … But we did MTV Cribs," she stated.
Since officially leaving the group in 2002 after disputes with fellow members Adrienne Bailon Houghton and Kiely Williams, Naughton has worked hard to solidify her acting career. She starred as Lil Kim in 2009's "Notorious" and starred as Tasha since "Power" debuted in 2014.
