Migos star Offset has been ordered to fork over nearly $1 million for failing to return a rented Bentley.
Back in February, Los Angeles luxury rental car company, Platinum Motorsports, filed a lawsuit against the 29-year-old, alleging that he rented a 2020 Bentley Bentayga months prior for under $600 a day and failed to return it. Offset asked for an extension, requesting to hold onto the vehicle until July 25th, 2020 but refused to pay the rental fees after telling the company that the car was no longer in his possession.
Platinum Motorsports filed a police report and lawsuit, claiming they lost over $100,000 in money from the vehicle being unavailable to other customers. On November 3rd, the lawsuit defaulted. Now, the “Bando” rapper will need to pay $950,027.35.
It remains unclear what became of the Bentley or how Offset managed to lose track of it completely.
