Hip-hop's favorite coke rapper, Pusha T, is speaking on the beef between his good friends Kanye West and Kid Cudi. Though their feud has taken a nasty turn, Pusha says he is hopeful that one day they will reunite.
During a recent stop at the SiriusXM's Shade45 show to promote his newly released album, "It's Almost Dry," Pusha opened up about the men's issues. Both Cudi and Ye were featured on his album on the standout single, "Rock N Roll." Pusha says the day they recorded the song, the vibes in the studio were unmatched, and both men were in good spirits. Pusha is unaware of when things went downhill, but he chooses to stay neutral.
"I think right now, I'm going to just let them have their space," the Virginia native stated.
Cudi and Ye's friendship has spanned over a decade. The two have been frequent collaborators, but their relationship soured when the music producer discovered that Cudi was friends with Pete Davidson. West launched a hate campaign against Davidson when he began dating his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. The "Jesus Walks" star saw Cudi's friendship with him as a sign of betrayal. Ye even excluded him from "Donda 2." Cudi shot back at him, stating that he would never be friends with Ye again.
"Brothers fight," he said. "Hopefully, we can all figure it out, though."
