Quavo is set to star in the upcoming film titled “Takeover.” The movie is written by Jeb Stuart, the mastermind behind “Die Hard” and “The Fugitive.” The flick will take viewers on a dramatic journey through Atlanta’s street-car culture. Greg Jonkajty will direct the film, which will combine live-action with animation.
The Migos star will portray the role of Guy Miller, a parolee who’s attempting to walk a straight path after his prison release but gets sucked into the fast-paced takeover car scene. Guy will be forced to choose between a quiet life and proving that he is still one of the best racers in the city.
“I’m really excited for this opportunity, especially shooting in my hometown of Atlanta,” Quavo said in a statement.
The production leg of Quality Control Music, Quality Films, is producing the movie along with Trioscope. Quality Control Music founders Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Pierre “P” Thomas are also putting their producer hats on for the movie.
