Rapper Key Glock has broken his silence about the murder of his mentor and cousin, Young Dolph.
Glock has kept a low profile following the November 17th murder. However, the “Everybody Know” rapper resurfaced on Instagram Sunday to share several words about how he is holding up in the wake of Dolph’s untimely passing.
“STOP asking me if I’m ok knowing damn well I ain’t,” he wrote on his IG Story. On Monday, the 24-year-old once again took to the social media platform to issue a more in-depth statement detailing the immeasurable pain he is currently experiencing, saying that “it hurts to breathe.”
“I’ll never be the same, you was my lefthand man, my brother, my cousin, my mentor and drank partner,” Glock wrote in the lengthy emotionally charged post, which included several photographs of the two together, including one that showed the rapper as a child alongside Dolph.
Fans have been anxiously awaiting the first remarks from Glock since Dolph was gunned down while buying cookies inside of Makeda’s Cookies in his hometown, Memphis, Tennessee. The shooting occurred just hours before his annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway. The suspects remain at large.
Let’s continue to keep Key Glock and the rest of Young Dolph’s family in our thoughts and prayers.
