Rising Dallas rap star Lil Loaded has passed away.
His shocking death was announced on Monday via social media, with fans and friends speculating that he committed suicide following an alleged breakup with a girlfriend. A cryptic message was posted to his Instagram Story, where the 20-year-old thanked his supporters and expressed being ready for the afterlife.
“Dear most high,” he began before asking for forgiveness and expressing appreciation for his many blessings. Towards the end of his lengthy message, Lil Loaded wrote, “I know you love all of your children, and I’m ready for my heart and soul to join you.”

Someone who is allegedly close to the “CRIPTAPE” rapper blamed Loaded’s death on an unknown woman, though his reps have not confirmed this.

Darkness has seemed to follow the up-and-coming artist in recent months. In November, he was arrested on murder charges in connection to the shooting death of his friend, 18-year-old Khalia Walker. A Dallas County grand jury lessened the charge to manslaughter but concluded that he “recklessly” caused Walker’s death. He was released on bond in December.
Things recently appeared to be looking up for Loaded, whose real name is Dashawn Robertson. Last week, he celebrated his “6LOCC 6A6Y” single being certified gold by the RIAA.
“6LOCC 6A6Y Certified Gold Who runnin dis shit like me young Nigga Shìt dopest fanbase on earth,” he wrote in a proud IG post highlighting his accomplishment.
Let’s keep his loved ones in our thoughts. Rest In Peace, Lil Loaded.
