Travis Scott is paying homage to the late Pop Smoke in his forthcoming collaboration with Dior.
Fans of the New York rapper, who was murdered during a home invasion in February 2019, know all about his love for the luxury brand. His 2019 “Dior” took the world by storm and probably contributed to a boost in sales that year. Now, Scott is making sure that Pop is forever immortalized with the fashion house.
On Friday, the “Sicko Mode” rapper shared the first look of the Pop Smoke x Dior t-shirt to his Instagram.
“U CANT SAY POP AND FORGET THE SMOKE,” La Flame wrote. “NOW U IN ALL THE STORES 4 EVER,” Scott wrote.
The shirt is expected to be part of the summer 2022 capsule collection that Travis Scott will help to design alongside Dior artistic director Kim Jones. The collaboration marks the first time a musician has been tapped to create for the French brand.
