YFN Lucci’s murder and racketeering trial is moving forward.
During Tuesday’s bond hearing, a judge announced that the case would go to trial on May 12th, 2022. Lucci was previously denied bond back in June and will remain in Fulton County Jail until trial.
The “Thoughts To Myself” rapper turned himself in last year after a warrant was issued for his arrest in the death of 28-year-old James Adams. It is alleged that Lucci was behind the wheel of the vehicle that drove the murder suspects to kill Adams in December 2020. Lucci was charged with aggravated assault, felony murder, participating in criminal street gang activity, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He posted bail and was jailed again in May 2021 on racketeering charges.
If convicted, Lucci faces life in prison. He has maintained his innocence.
