Paper Route boss Young Dolph has announced that "Dum & Dummer 2" will be his final album.
The highly anticipated collaboration project with Key Glock arrived on March 26th, nearly two years after the first "Dum & Dummer" debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200. To celebrate the album, Young Dolph announced the #DumAndDummer2AlbumChallenge, which gives four lucky fans a chance to win $25,000 each.
The album was met with immediate praise, which is why Dolph revealing that he was throwing in the towel came as a surprise to his loyal supporters, who pleaded with the "Major" rapper to reconsider.
"i hope y'all enjoying the new mixtape, it's my last project putting out. i wasn't gonna tell y'all but i thought y'all should know im done with music. ENJOY," he wrote in an Instagram post.
While it is unclear what drove the 35-year-old to retirement, one can only hope that he will still have a hand in music in some form or fashion. Fans will have to wait and see. Until then, stream "Dum & Dummer 2" below.
